A little light, a lot of possibility.

The brief was not a bigger room, but a room that breathed. Yellowed walls were pulling warmth from the oak floor in all the wrong ways. We imagined a soft ivory with a quiet green fireplace, keeping the existing floor and layout. An eggshell wall finish balances gentle light with everyday wipeability; a matte feature surround lets the colour do the talking. The example scope covers wall preparation, the ceiling and two finish coats.

A softer start to every morning.

Good cabinets deserve another chapter. In this imagined Edmonds refresh, the layout stays, but heavy burgundy gives way to the warmth of pale peach. Cream cabinet fronts reflect the small window’s daylight without turning the kitchen clinical. The proposed process includes degreasing, careful sanding, bonding primer and a cabinet-specific finish, with generous curing time before everyday use.

Character worth keeping.

The porch, the timber, the proportions: nothing needed reinventing. Our fictional exterior study pairs deep forest green siding with warm ivory trim and an aubergine door. Preparation is the heart of the proposed job: wash, allow to dry, remove loose paint, fill small gaps and prime exposed wood. Two finish coats would follow in suitable dry weather, preserving the quiet charm of the original home.
